We have chosen this yellow as it similar to the colour of the subway and it is not too bright.

update : we changed the yellow to an orange this was because it clashed with the white. 

This is our plan for our  CD album and decided to use a similar style to ed sheerans with the X and we also decided the colour scheme of our album which is yellow , black and white.

Planning and Research For CD and Advert ; Audience Feedback

We pitched our print product ideas to our class which was useful as they suggested that we should take a studio shot rather than a location shot but  we told them that it would be difficult for us to arrange the shoot since the actor has school . However the audience liked the colour scheme black , yellow and white as it similar to Ed sheerans cover. A suggestion was for the actor to look away from the camera to portray him being lonely which was linked to our advert case studies Adele 21 and Ed sheeran.

Practice Using The Camera

 Since we had problems with finding reliable actors we decided to experiment with the camera to refresh our mind in how to use the camera. This was helpful as we learnt about the shutter speed, ISO ,focusing at still objects and making sure that it is not over exposed.

Our first day of filming went well but we was not able to film enough footage's because there was not enough memory in the camera as well as an extra battery therefore we planned out what we are going to do on the day rather then wasting time.

We made a group chat with the male actor who will be featured in our music video. We gave him an idea of what he will be doing in each scene and to learn the lyrics of U.N.I.

Our first shooting will be on the 18th October.we discussed about to capture different camera shots and the items that would be needed on the day such as the hairband , drink , paper bag etc.

Auditions

Today there was many students who turned up to audition to be part of the music video or the short film. we told them about the music video and what we wanted them to do however no male students turned up which was not great for us as we were not able to see the chemistry between the guy and girl but one girl wanted to be in the music video and knew a boy that would be in video with her.

Update

The boy had work during Saturday and Sunday and had rehearsal during most of the weekdays after college therefore we decided to look for another guy.
